Compost and mulch
The contribution of garden compost to the productivity of the garden can be enormous.
To help prevent erosion and depletion of soils, use a rich peat-free mulch, disease, pest and weed free.
In early spring, apply a mulch 1-2in (2.5 - 5cm) thick of weed - free, organic material such as leaf mould, peat substitute.

Chipped bark
Chipped Bark is one of the most useful organic mulches because it helps prevent weed seeds germinating and smothers weed seedlings.
Established perennial weeds may grow through the mulch but, as they tend to root in the loose material, they are easy to remove.

Garden membrane
A membrane forms an excellent weed suppression barrier to help your garden flourish. Our membranes are tough and durable, with no puddling due to microscopic perforations.
They are suitable for many garden projects including under driveways and paths, and can be placed under shingle or slate to help to suppress weed growth.
Puncture and tear resistant, they can be repeatedly used in greenhouses and tunnels.

20-40mm and Oversize ( 40-300mm Ungraded )
Great for land drains / French drains / cesspits / cesspools and soak-aways. Decorative purposes under trees and on borders. Oversize are also used to replace flints and stones in old walls.
